Top left: the Neckar. This is the main river in Tuebingen, and as you can probably guess, the center of the Altstadt (old city)

Top right: Another (and somewhat more famous) view of the Neckar. There's a very famous yellow house which is usually in this shot but is only barely visible to the far left. I'll get a better one later, I promise. Friedrich Hoelderlin went crazy and died in that house. He wrote Hyperion, and he's one of Tuebingen's most famous residents. I'm sure everyone is very excited to learn this, and I'm sure, if you haven't already read Hyperion, you're going to do so soon. It falls somewhere between Moby Dick and Kafka, as far as readibility goes.

Middle left: One view of the central square. There's a farmers market here twice a week.

Middle right: The main building of Uni-Tuebingen. As you can see, the weather here is just wonderful.

Bottom right: Das Rathaus. This would be their equivalent to city hall.
